  : Very nice and natural place with a vine yard. The host offered a taste of their own wine and lemonade on the house. Sounds of nature. Kitchen available for everyone. Hosts big groups.

  : My favourite place to stay so far on the Camino Portugues. Beautiful location right on the Camino, overlooking vineyards, run by people who care.. A very warm welcome with a glass of iced lemon water, both for me and the person I'd been hiking with that afternoon (who had not booked to stay there) while I checked in. Simple but comfortable room with en suite shower. No frills, just the necessities. Outdoor sink & washing lines for dealing with sweaty hiker laundry. Lots of deckchairs, hammocks & outdoor futons for relaxing (plus indoor lounge with log burner for winter, not needed when I was there). Simple communal pilgrim meal offered (meat or veggie pasta, salad, bread, fruit & dessert, all wished down with white wine from the vines we could see). Individual rooms with communal meal is the perfect combination for this Camino peregrina. When I realised I had misplaced some important documents, I contacted the property and they found them while I was still in the village. I walked back to collect them & when I got there the lady said she was about to phone to ask if she should bring them to the village cafe where I was eating breakfast.
  : No breakfast offered on site - village cafe is 1 km away. Lighting in room a little dim (a common problem in many modern posh hotels, not just casas rurales). No aircon - not sure if that would be an issue on hotter nights.

  : We had a double room with private bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was notably good. The bedroom was spotlessly clean. There was a lovely welcome with a glass of mint water and a meal was offered. The meal included local wine and olive oil. An honesty bar was also offered. The property was incredibly peaceful and has a great vibe.
  : The meal was rather a simple meal for 13, but it did include ample local wine.
