  : Our apartment was ready earlier so we could check in as soon as we arrived. Bed was comfortable.The pool area is a nice little sun trap and there were a couple of occasions where we were the only ones round the pool.
  : The apartment needs a bit of tlc and a handrail is needed when coming down the stairs as could easily fall.It is very central so is just behind the main square where the bars and pubs are so does get very noisy on a night. You are given ear plugs which helped but if we'd known it was so close we would not have booked. Although this would suit some people.We didn't need to speak to a member of staff but they only seem to be available until lunchtime when they were cleaning.

  : There was this awful bright green light in the room that you could not turn off - part of the AC unit. Felt like I was in the Great Gatsby.

  : The pool and the views to the old town, but theses were overwhelmed by our discomfort regarding the stairs and the nature of our "deluxe" double room.
  : There was no mention of the two sets of steep stairs from the front door up to our room when booking online. This was not on the website and was difficult for myself as I have some mobility issues. We did struggle to get our luggage up the stairs and the complete lack of reception staff was also a problem. The room was not suitable as there were also stairs up to the bed and this was difficult and dangerous to use. The tiolet and shower did not have effective extraction of vapour and/or smell and was often smelly. The room had very poor soundproofing and noisy guests often under the influence of alcohol was a further problem at night. This accommodation does not meet the standard of a "hotel/guest house" and is therefore poor value for money. Whilst being just off the main square this part of Albufeira is noisy and busy most of the time.
