  : Location was near enough to old town
  : From the minute we arrived it was a horrendous experience! The hotel has split into two separate hotels due to a fight amongst management. The side we were in has no reception (the side with reception has smashed windows and no electricity! They allowed us to use the toilet with a torch!!!! ). No way to contact reception, no where to leave luggage, finally contacted someone from an emergency number on the wall. Relayed how disappointed we were with the place, said they would come at 4pm and we could talk then. We landed at 09.30 that morning. A woman arrived at 4.15pm, there was other people also waiting to check in she disappeared with one of them and we had to follow her around to check in. Eventually got checked in outside by the pool at a table! Apartments have air con. Shower was blocked you had to wait about 15 mins for the water to drain before next person can shower. No towels or bedsheets changed in the week we were there. Ants in the room. The pool hadn't been cleaned in a long time, the water was green and there was green scum all along the walls. We didn't go in at all. I had to ring to ask what do we do with the key for the apartment when we were leaving as no instructions given and no reception to give it to. An awful experience from start to finish!! The area in very hilly and alot of steps so wouldn't be suitable for some.

  : PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOK. I have travelled so much in my live and it was the first time i got a bad experience like that. My flight was delayed and because of this i arrived at midnight and was supposed to arrived at 6pm. But the host call me at 6 to know wich time i will be there, i explein my flight is delayed and i will be there at midnight so he tell me no problem i will come at midnight for you and you can also call me . I have called him for 2 hours he never respond when i arrived at midnight and he wasnt at the place nobody was there i was a girl alone arrived for the first time in portugal outside it was extremely cold and nobody for helped. I was cryed because no other place available for sleep at this ttime they make me feel stressed. After 2 hour outside the bulding ive been lucky the guy from the same place but that rend room hotel came for a problem and he saw me and helped me to contact them he told me this happen often they dont have good service. Then 30 after a girl come give me a room and she ask me 40$ because its late. I said no i will not paid you make me wait and be stress outside. She said my boss call you tomorrow morning and check this with you but now you are obligated to paid to me. I paid and the next day the boss never call i tryed to contact him and no ways to contact him. I was need tourists informations also and they never gave me any information nobody for help they just ask me more money after all this bad experience. The place is really warm i cant sleep because no AC

  : The accommodation was fine for what we needed, which was a base as we always hire a car. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed.

  : Nice and clean! Staff really helpful. grocery shops just on walking distance. Over all we like the property

  : cockroaches in room several times, coming out of skirting boards, no air con which is crazy In 36+ degrees, large vent in room that was producing hot air , turned it off then there was no hot water, uncomfortable beds with itchy bed clothes, no one came to clean our apartment AT ALL spent 1 week here, outside balcony shutter broken, also chairs on balcony cracked, would never stay here again, felt disgusting the whole time.

  : The bed - which was not even a real bed - was incredibly uncomfortable, especially because there was not even a normal pillow, just something random thrown on the bed. We did not rest well at all.
