  : Scam! Scam! Scam! I am fine with basement units, but this was just a terrible experience being yelled at by the owners when communicating with them that I would be going through booking to figure out why the apartment is not actually as listed. They tried to get me to pay with my credit card on site through their own machine instead of using the card on booking because they wanted to make sure they get payed for the whole stay after I messaged them saying the apartment is not as listed. I got there and it was a horrible apartment. It looks like its bigger in the pictures, but when you get to the basement it is one room, no doors, smells like mold, poor lighting, no heating or fan (which is described as being had in the listing). Overall terrible. The listing does not reflect what the actual apartment is. The apartment manager on site is sweet, but the owners are rude and trying to scam you into paying for a stay that is baerly livable. If you find your self in the same situation as I was, go straight to booking rep to have them manage the interactions. I messaged the property through booking after arriving and the managers tried to scam me into paying way too much for one night by being very vague about giving me a discount and acted like I should have known that the basement is JUST THAT a basement instead of a livable space. The listing needs to not try to show both apartments in one listing and put all the amenities together to get you to think you are reserving the apartment in the photos.
  : There was no utensils for cooking in the kitchen. No cutting board or knives. Just a set of fork spoon and butter knife so dont try to cook anything using the "kitchen". Also, the "stove"or rather hot plates are melted from being burned while used. The shower drain was clogged and overflowing during the first use. I had to pull out the plunger and clean it myself. There are three beds in one room. No living room area. No doors dividing the kitchen from the bedroom so you have no privacy at any moment. The walls all have marks on them from who knows what. The fridge in the listing pictures is not the same. Everything about the apartment is cheap. Maybe for 1 person it would be ok, if you dont want to make food or eat there, but no way the listing should try to shove 3 beds into a room and charge more per bed when the entire unit is really poorly taken care of.
