  : The breakfast was excellent. Wide variety, all freshly made. Really enjoyed the scrambled eggs with the homemade flatbread. Staff offered to make daily specials and very friendly. Great location to everything within walking distance. All staff provided great service and helped with any question.
  : The only area I would improve on is the size of the bed. The singles are fine, whereas the beds for couples are very cozy, although the rooms reflect the history of the area and are more defined as trapper rooms.

  : The hotel is super cute and cosy and the breakfast was the best we had. Fresh made eggs Benedict with home made hollandaise sauce was a highlight. The bathroom is really nice too. We would stay here again.
  : Our room had a faint smell of cigarette smoke but obviously this wasnt the fault of the hotel. The bedsheets were a bit worn and could do with replacing and the bunk beds arent suitable for children (or anyone who has been drinking). There are no sides (so you could roll straight off from a considerable height) and the ladder is a log with notches cut into it. As the rooms here are designed to look like cabins, you cant share a bed. This was fine for a couple of nights but as we were celebrating our anniversary we moved on to another hotel with more traditional beds. We also got a mulled wine each which was far too sweet (more like cough syrup). That didnt bother us too much but realising it cost 14 each when we paid was a shock. Svalbard doesnt tax alcohol so the high price seemed a bit of a rip off.

  : The hotel was perfectly located in the middle of the city, in close proximity to the grocery store, shops, restaurants and bars. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the hotel had such a warm and inviting vibe. I would definitely stay here again!
  : Assistance with booking tours with external parties could have been a little more helpful.
