  : The smell as you walk into the hotel was lovely. The room was clean and the bed was comfy.
  : The staff were a little inattentive at times, nice enough but I felt a little ignored as I first arrived after a long journey. I understand that the moxy seems like a relaxed approach hotel but I do feel the professionalism should be maintained. As I arrived nearly all staff had their backs toward me and did not acknowledge me as a guest. The view from my room was overlooking a construction site-that was not nice to look at for 3 mornings. I would have liked this to have been mentioned to me by staff. I could have asked to change rooms but I didn’t have much faith in the staff sadly and I knew I’d be out most of the day. Also, after telling reception that I didn’t need housekeeping for the duration of my stay, I found a man knocking at my door almost in panic, on a Saturday morning- I was in my pj’s and found the man opening my door- he then asked if I needed towels! I understand that staff are doing their jobs but when I specifically asked for no housekeeping, I do expect that. And as a solo female traveller - just having a guy enter my room without them telling me it’s housekeeping, was very uncomfortable. I love Bergen it’s why I come back - would I stay at the moxy again? perhaps not sadly.
