  : The staff are very welcoming, nice and kind people. The food was very good. The bar area was very nice and cosy. The breakfast was well organized and good selection of food. When I asked for new rooms they were very helpful. The pool was supposed to be closed when we arrived late but staff were very relaxed and said it was no problem to use the pool. The nature outside is stunning. Lots of fun areas for kids. The refurbished suite was very nice and spacious with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms.
  : The rooms we were given on arrival were awful. Very old. The bathroom was disgusting. Never seen a toilet so cracked with rust. When I saw the bathroom I just couldnt stay in the rooms. Was disappointing having to pay extra for decent rooms but they were kind enough to not charge the full rate for the refurbished rooms. I had expected basic rooms but not the state they were in and did not compare to the previous basic hotels we had stayed the days before and this was a higher price than the other hotels. Common areas are generally nice but the bathrooms in the common area are very old like the old rooms and disappointing.

  : Food was very good, especially the dinner buffet with lots of choice, all of high quality. Everything was spotlessly clean and most of the staff were very friendly. The room was very big indeed.
  : One member of staff was unfortunately not very friendly. The room was rather chilly and didn't really warm up much even with the heater turned on. And the mattress/topper was extremely soft, which I can't stand. This is a personal preference, of course, and I noticed this issue in most places I stayed in Norway, so it seems to be the norm, but this was the most extreme case of it. Also, the hotel isn't actually that close to the water, so from our ground-floor room we had no real view of it at all.

  : The food was great and Im sure for skiing it would be great location but we stayed in the summer so was in the middle of nowhere
  : The tv dont work in the bedrooms and they were pretty cold
