  : The hotel has a very unique and charming style and atmosphere. Great location with a perfect view to the fjord. My room was without a view, but 2 minutes from the main building and you reach the pantone/waterfront to enjoy the beautiful fjord. Bus station and supermarket are less than 5 minutes walking. Cozy seating areas inside and outside the hotel with their own restaurant. The room was small, but clean with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Heating was working perfectly. Welcoming and accommodating hotel personnel, the lady at the breakfast room was very lovely and helpful. Breakfast was great and sufficient - freshly baked bread, fresh veggies and fruits, cold cuts, salads; omelet and boiled eggs as some hot options; brewed coffee, tea and cocoa, orange juice. Tea and coffee station in the lobby was available throughout a day.
  : Would be nice to have some extra towels in the room and more bath products (I had only 1 shower gel/shampoo). I guess it can be provided by request, but I never asked as it was enough for 2 days. First floor was a little noisy, but only when other occupants were walking in the corridor. I am not a light sleeper, so it never bothered me.

  : If we were very fussy we would say that there should be another mirror in the cabin apart from the one over the bathroom basin!

  : The cabin was much too small for four adult people. The upstairs loft room is really only appropriate for children, not adults. It is quite cramped and small.

  : Quite expensive compared to the service provided, small room and very average breakfast. Nobody even tried to talk to us when we showed up in the breakfast house.

  : The view! We stayed in a cabin and I cannot imagine a more perfect view. Simply gorgeous. The cabin was quite small and relatively basic. But nice nonetheless. Breakfast in the lovely old house was delightful. The staff were all really friendly and helpful.

  : The town of Aurland is charming. The cottage is clean and new and has amazing views! The bar and restaurant on site are very convenient and had a nice casual menu. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this location!
  : The cottage is quit snug - no place for luggage other than open on the floor. Having an additional mirror outside the bathroom would be helpful, especially since there is no outlet in the bathroom for using the blow dryer.
