  : Excellent care and friendly host. I would definitely take breakfast included with the room. Lots of choice and also tasty things. A bit oriented towards German guests who also come there frequently. But a very good care in total. ALso the restaurant service a good and decent dinner. Hopefully the renovation of the annex will be picked up soon.
  : Because it was a warm day, we were shown a room in the cooler annex. Not in the main building where a view over the Oude Rijn is promised. Not a problem as such (it was also fairly cool in the room), but the annex is really in need of renovation. Fortunately, they're going to tackle that of winter. It is clean and they are spacious rooms with enough light, but it is a bit noisy, the balcony is not very pleasant, and everything is really dated. There are no photos of these rooms on the website. And then it's quite pricey.

  : The staff was very kind and welcoming and the town was lovely!
  : Spiders all over the walls outside and windows which may not have been bad except we arrived with our windows open. Which made us wonder if spiders also were in our room. The beds were short and it felt like they projected an image of this more modern renovated space but in reality the room we had was very dated and in need of updating.

  : The location was excellent - village centre with parking and a beautiful church to the front, a small canal and views over farmland to the rear. The restaurant/ bar was very pleasant with good choices for dinner and breakfast. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
  : Saturday night noise in the village. Young people letting off steam on a warm evening. Not a normal occrence I'm sure..

  : We were not able to make the visit. Following Storm Ciaran we had no phone, no internet etc and could not even cancel our visit. We have stayed there before and will certainly stay there again. Its a great hotel!
