Hotel Les Charmes

: The room was a good size. For breakfast we were offerd a variety of continental choices which was very tasty and just enough. The location of the hotel is perfect, very central and walking distance to everywhere. Although there was no kettle in the room there was a help yourself coffee station in the hall.
: A door between the bed- and the bathroom.

Wonderful

: Clean, nice room, well located, friendly staff, comfortable bed, very nice bathroom.
: Only complaint is there was no lift. We are over 60 years old with knee problems, but having a lift is more the exception than the rule in the older part of town in most of the cities we stayed during our trip.

: The location beats the disadvantages!I dont know why some reviewers didnt like the mattresses and pillows, I didnt have a problem with them. I think I was so tired from walking, I would just doze off on the wooden floor I loved the hotels vibe and its interior design. Some room decor and furniture items like a mirror, closet, tables are vintage indeed. I found this blend with modern design solutions quite interesting.
: I lacked a mini fridge and a kettle. From what I was able to understand, theres a coffee machine in the hallway but its not free. Also, my room description said theres a balcony which in fact was just an outside door with a big glass table with a thick layer of dust and no chairstoo much noise from the outside and neighbouring rooms. I would also appreciate the wifi password info somewhere in the room. The tv is small and useless (not a smart one) also, I had to double clean the bath before use as it didnt look clean at all. And in my opinion, breakfast isnt worth the money.
