  : We loved the ambience and the beautiful location on the Vecht, very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was good, the staff were friendly however we thought the initial welcome upon our arrival could have been a little more forthcoming and friendly. The property is best suited for people travelling in their own car.

  : Stunning breakfast served in a beautiful room, wonderful easy check in, clean rooms with everything you need. Room was also beautifully decorated and you really feel 'at home'. The grounds and hotel in itself were absolutely beautiful with all little bits and bobs - decor and what not, so tasteful and interesting to have a wonder around. The view on the river was lovely and we wish we booked the room with the outside area as it looked amazing. The weather was incredible which added to the beauty of the garden and the sparkling river views. Most amazing restaurant next door, do not hesitate to book there! 1 min walk away so no driving (slangevegt- incredible!!) This is like a 'home' stay kind of place, which we really like, boutique vibes - but if you are wanting some kind of uber fancy modern style, this isn't for you. We however loved it!
  : Nothing e didn't like, but for other travelers who might be picky : The hotel is on a busy road so if you are looking for a very quiet place, think twice - this didn't affect us but to be sure for other travelers. We stayed in the loft room which was perfect for us - the toilet is outside the bedroom + steep stairs to get to the top. None of this concerned us but you may be toilet shy (even though this is totally private) or not able to do the stairs with a big suitcase. The windows COULD do with black out blinds for light / sensitive sleepers but this is an added luxury for the more modern hotel stays (see other comments) so bring an eye mask with you. Once again, this wasn't a concern for us at all and slept like logs. We had a truly beautiful stay here and would return in a heart beat. Thanks to everyone!

  : Very nicely located accomodation with wonderfull garden ajoining the Vecht river. Beautifull common rooms. Very nice served breakfast in convervatory overlooking the garden

  : The environment, building and its interior are truly spectacular. Cool rooms containing likely quite valuable and neat antiques (my room had lots of fun racing-related artifacts). Nice, small site with intimate vibe, friendly staff. Didn't have breakfast, but might be worth doing just to spend more time in some of the awesome rooms downstairs. During hot weather it was very welcoming that A/C was installed to keep the room cool.
  : Didn't expect that the toilet access would be via a shared hallway, which was slightly annoying but not a huge deal considering how few guests there are. Access to the upper room is via some very steep stairs that make carrying luggage difficult. Also a bit disappointed that they charged an extra fee to use the electric car charger. That kind of amenity, like wifi, does not warrant an additional charge in my opinion, and should be a perk for staying there.

  : This has to be one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I've ever stayed in. It was comfortable and so quiet.We didn't notice the other guests other than at breakfast times. Beds were comfortable and the room was large and cozy.Breakfast was great as well and the staff was very nice and helpful.It's so quiet and relaxing to stay here. A very romantic place.
  : -The stairs to our room (last floor) were a challenge for sure! Especially with our big suitcases, it was definitely a struggle. One of the staff members did offer her help with one of our suitcases, but we didn't want to trouble her with it.- There's no safe inside the room, but since you had to take the tall stairs to our room, we didn't worry too much.- The location, although gorgeous, was not centric. You have to take buses into town, but it's not too bad.- The carpet in our room had some stains and was a bit uncomfortable to walk in because it's so tough.

  : Lovely room slightly on the small side but had interesting photographs on the wall. The bathroom was large enough but could have done with a few more hooks for towels as there was only one. We loved the feel of the old house and the breakfast room was gorgeous with views to the garden with some large, old trees and the canal.
  : It was all pretty good so I would be nitpicking.
