: Tiraspol certainly does not have a dynamic hotel scene but I'm quite sure City Club Hotel is the best option out there. It may be simple and a bit dated but it is clean and comfortable, the downtown is accessible on foot in about 10 minutes and even wifi is available. The hotel and the area is safe and quiet (actually the hotel was eerily quiet but there's practically zero tourism in Tiraspol). Irina at reception was friendly and efficient, checkin/payment was easy (euros accepted) and she spoke excellent English.
: No problems, I really had a pleasant stay. Note that the restaurant is currently not operational, so breakfast is not available.

: Since we were in Transnistri, we weren' expecting much of the accomodation. But the hotel and the rooms had a bit of USSR-grandeur, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very OK and beds and shower facilities were really good.
: In the future, a bit better English would be nice (but it was part of the charm)

: Comfy bed and in a quiet location. Gym is amazing, one of the best hotel gyms I've seen. Receptionists spoke English well which is rare in Transnistria.
