  : The location was great. So many restaurants and sites.
  : The kitchen was not set up for cooking. No good pans. I had requested a bathtub and was told that I could have one, but on arrival, I was told that the tub was only in the premium apartment. I would have booked that one had I known.

  : The location for walking everywhere is great. Close to everything.
  : No person met us as advertised. After many emails and 90 minutes later we were given the codes for entry. We were not expecting bunk beds. Used dirty bandage on floor. Not what we paid for. 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 adults. No access to building happened to 2 other couples whilst we were there. Tried to help a couple at 1215am one night. We are requesting the 70 euro for cleaning returned to us.

  : The location was perfect. Almost all attractions are located nearby. If you want a Venetian atmosphere you would also like the place itself - in the heart of the city, in an old house with a view of the canal under the windows. The apartment had everything you need for a comfort stay.
  : Although it was stated that there was an internet connection in the apartment, it was absent throughout our stay. We reported this to the hosts but the issue was not resolved while we were there. I guess there was a technical failure. Good thing we had access to ours or this would have been a really big problem.

  : No breakfast. Location was good. Getting to the apartment was difficult for 2 senior citizens with heavy bags to navigate the streets and steps. Host office gave us wrong directions which resulted in us having to cross the Rialto Bridge 2 times.

  : We were welcomed by not being able to get into the accommodation after 2 hours of walking around with heavy luggage because the accomodation is on a street that somehow connects to itself beyond multiple canals (which was kindly explained to us by a local) this really should be specified by the accommodation. Not all travellers have google maps and / or internet connection, so saying get the water bus to Rialto stop and then its just a 10 minute walk is not very helpful. The staff had not waited beyond 20 minutes for our arrival and we were locked out having to go to another hotel and asking them to call ours (to which that person at the other hotel said its not the first time he has had to do this for san lio customers)Someone came to let us in and only asked for one passport I was later contacted asking for the personal details of the other person staying which I said I would be happy to provide in person and not over the internet for privacy reasons. This wasnt accepted and I was made to send the details over internet which Im not happy about my boundary being crossed in that wayTerrible wifi connectionHeating is only on from 6pm to 8pm, then a little while in the morning. Good luck in winter! We stayed in autumn and were freezing, I relied on the hair dryer to warm myself up..Dusty dirty appartment, we had sneezing fitsContacted about getting our cleaning fee of 50 euro back as it was filthy with pubic hairs in bathroom, dust along architraves, soot on floors, squashed mosquitoes on walls, the manager wanted photo evidence of this which my husband took as he went along cleaning the space which took time out of our day and was sent to them..

  : The location is central to the main tourist sights. It was quiet at night. It was very tastefully finished inside in a classic style and the hosts left a complimentary bottle of wine.
  : There was not a proper check-in process. On booking.com we were told that we would pay in full including cleaning and the city tax but we had to make a separate appointment to pay these last two charges in cash. This was inconvenient to us. There was some discussion on heating as it it only available for eleven hours each day and as it was late November it was cold at times.The wi-fi was very bad. Replacement towels had holes in them. Finally, there were a few small niggles like no bed-side tables, some blown bulbs, lack of sockets in the bedroom, a broken shower head, some weird dust in the bathroom, and a slightly broken bed. Nothing to detract too much from our stay but none-the-less these should be taken care of.
