  : The photos on the website show brightly lit rooms, with light coming in from the windows.The reception, in reality, was dark and poorly lit a very unfortunate first impression. It did not look anything like the photos- in fact, I wondered if I was in the same place.My room was directly behind reception, accessed by a small hall filled with stored luggage. The hall was again, poorly lit.I could hardly find the light switch to see the door lock. My room also didnt meet my expectations ; did not look/feel particularly clean and smelled vaguely of smoke.The smoke could have possibly come next door, as the neighbor had a window open and was clearly smoking inside, as the smell filled the air outside his window.I know that many Italians smoke. Thats fine.I just dont want to rent a room that smells even a bit smoky as I am allergic. So, given that I didnt feel as if I was given a room that approximated what was shown online, I found other accommodations.

  : Staff gave me directions to the train station that didn't require walking along the canal and crossing multiple bridges or hiring a water taxi. Wish we had known this on arrival!!

  : The little house with en suite rooms is perfectly situated in the Cannaregio part of Venice, on a cosy street, next to a university campus, right across from the water buses, and in the vicinity of several restaurants and cafes. The staff was lovely - our room got cleaned and toiletries got replenished daily. The room was cosy and warm. The bidet was a great addition to the toilet.

  : The complex is located 10 minutes from the train station and away from all the chaos
  : The room was pretty hot and no AC available in the room

  : The style of the room was nice and the location was perfect. Close to the main streets but quiet place.
  : The shutters were a bit tight. We couldn't close it completly.
