  : They agreed to store my suitcase for three nights between my two stays.
  : There was a dried up plaster in the bath tub when I arrived. A bin bag full of rubbish was left sitting on the chair in the bathroom. Cleaning agents were left on the bathroom sink. When I complained, two men came to my room and laughed in my face. One said, we have done enough for you. (They had agreed to store my suitcase for three nights.) I was appalled by the experience.

  : The bed and pillows were a little too hard to be truly comfortable. We paid top dollar and the room was big, but felt value could have been improved.

  : The hotel has a beautiful view. It is situated high a top a mountain with views of the sea. The breakfast/dining room has stunning views of Mt. Etna and it is just breathtaking. The beds are comfortable and the suite we had was large and comfortable.
  : Getting down to town or anywhere is cumbersome. You have to rely on their shuttle which only leaves from the hotel every 2 hours. So you're on their schedule. They do pick you up from town, but it's the same schedule - every 2 hours. If you don't mind that, then it's fine. We like to come and go as we please, so it was a little inconvenient. In addition, I thought I had booked a luxury suite with doors that open to a large terrace overlooking the sea. When we first arrived, they put us in a suite with a small terrace and said we booked a category of room, not the room itself. So if you book, be prepared to get something a little different than the pictures. They did switch our room, but we didn't get the one I thought I was booking. They did try to accommodate us, but for the money, I might choose a different hotel, closer to town, or to the beach.

  : We had a suite that slept 3, whilst the main room had a massive bed the third bed was a very small single sofa bed which was very uncomfortable for an adult.
