: The location of the hotel is amazing, just next to the entrance into the historical center. The selection for breakfast was good.
: We stayed for 3 nights from Friday till Monday. On Sunday afternoon we saw a notice in the hotel lift that there will be construction works on the parking in front of the hotel from 10pm till 6am (Sunday night!). Our room windows faced this parking. We immeaditely asked at the reception if we could change the room for one with a view to the other side and were happy to pay the room price difference. But unfortunately there were no rooms available. We had a terrible night that completely ruined our perception of the hotel. I understand that not the hotel was in charge of these works. But I don't believe that the construction company decided to do the works on the parking on Sunday morning! In my view it is hotel's management responsibility to keep contact with local authorities in order to be aware of any works planned. It may be the case that the hotel staff had known about the works earlier but didn't inform hotel guests to avoid cancelations. In any case the hotel didn' behave in the way a 5-star hotel must, in my view. They did provide ear plugs and believed that this way the problem was solved. Belive me, it was not. Just imagine how the change of asphalt in front of your windows from 10pm till 8am sounds like.
