  : If you're looking for the "tuscanest" stay, this is probably it. It's an old house, sitting lonely in a grove atop a hill. There are some nice sights, and a very villagy vibe to it. The whole stay was like a stay with a distant italian family in the 80s, for good and for worse.There's a "natural pool" which is a sort of a lake with artificially circulating water, great to dip in during the 40c heat. Plenty of parking space, quite open attitude to what guests can do around the house, a lot of outdoor space.The house itself is huge, you will get one of the rooms. We had a 'tuscan' sort of room, with a functional bathroom, although the mirrors weren't designed for anyone over 170cm of height. It's all very, very old school. Which has its charm, if you're looking for it.There's a ventilator in the room, and literally two-three electric sockets. Enough to run the fan and charge your devices/use a lamp.It was all clean, without a doubt. Kids could run around and play with sticks. There were lines to dry your clothes, and a 5 fee for using the washing machine, located in a dark cellar.The architecture of the house is very classical for the surroundings, there are geckos on the ceilings and walls, so kids loved it.There's a fridge in the courtyard you can use, it chills stuff, but doesn't seem to have a lot of power. It's not policed in any way, so I was met with a whiff of stench from whatever others have put there every time I went in for water.Then there's the breakfast, which again aligns with the 80s vibe at your aunt's house. There's a big room, with a massive table and a revolving wooden plate in the middle. There's some fruit yoghurt, cereal, maybe milk. There's a girl there as 'help' to prepare stuff for you, doesn't seem to speak much english, but enough to get some cappucino.
  : The drive is about 1500m through an uphill gravel road. We did it in a Polo, but a 4x4 wouldn't hurt ONE BIT. The gravel is a mix of pea-sized pebbles to potato+ stones, at a pretty agressive incline. It's picturesque, but all you're thinking is catching a flat tire. The location is ok, 20 minute drive from the Firenze tram station. There's no AC, period. Again, adds to the 80s authenticity vibe. It's still doable if you sleep naked and the fan is on. Breakfast is unlike most hotels. You just get the selection of the day, almost no veggies. Everything was decent quality, but little choice. The pool doesn't have any illumination, which is great to chill in the night and gaze at the stars, but a small snake slithering in the water forced us out. Eating options are limited in close vincinity, and the roads are very.. tuscan. Opening times seem to be random too. It was hard to figure out the shower, it was either cold or scalding, both at nearly the same setting. WiFi is very spotty, really hard to get a stable connection, there's maybe a few places in the house where it worked. The dog might scare you off at the start, but she's a good girl once you get acquainted.

  : The room was ok. Theres no view of fields. You can see the trees
  : The landlady made us feel not welcome at all, she was in a bad mood. When we booked it said free WiFi and it was broken and she didnt give us any help. We didnt have signal to book somewhere else or make a complainment. At 10 am she knocked on our door to make the check out. This place is not recommended at all.
