  : The view was amazing. We only stayed one night so its hard to give a thorough review, but the restaurant was convenient and location was good.
  : We didnt get a tour when we arrived so we had to find our way around the hotel. The layout was a little confusing at first.

  : beautiful suite overlooking the town of san candido, friendly helpful staff, outstanding breakfast and dinner, interesting wine list. it was amazing.
  : rooms close to the spa gets overheated, bathrooms might need some remodeling.

  : The hotel is clean and a short drive away from key things to visit in the area The hotel offers a free shuttle, which was very useful during our trip as we had a puncture and had to leave our car with a local garage overnight The staff is nice, although there is room for improvement on the advice that we were given in terms of travel (for instance, we got shown on a map how to get to Braies but the reception failed to mention we needed to book parking online before getting there)
  : Generally we were disappointed with our experience at Leitlhof.. perhaps because we had very high expectations given the ratings we had read on booking.com Aside from the reception staff and perhaps one of the bartenders, it seems that most of the staff doesn't speak English (only italian or german), which made our experience more difficult There is a loud road between the hotel/pool area and the mountains. Photos made it look like the hotel/pool was this very secluded mountain vue, but actually, there is a road and the town of San Candido between the hotel and the mountains. We left the windows open at nights because the room was getting hot otherwise, and you can really hear all the trucks starting to drive through the road from 4/5am onward. Not very pleasant. You can also hear the road for the pool and sunbed area, so be aware of that too. Spa has great facilities but all the saunas and the steam room are nudist areas, with no mixed gender etiquette. As a female in my late 20s, I've been exposed to too many male 'private parts' during this stay and I've been very uncomfortable at this hotel and spa. I've been to another spa in the Dolomites where the saunas were also 'no textile' but every guest there wore a towel, or at least they did out of politeness if the saunas were attended by both genders. This other hotel/spa also had a 'textile allowed' sauna, which I thought was more inclusive.

  : You receive a welcome drink on arrival and the concierge explains the hotel and facilities for you. The location and setting is amazing.All the staff are very friendly and attentive and provide excellent service.The room is very comfortable and spacious.The wellness centre is exceptional and the food is 1st class with a huge and extensive breakfast and 5-course dinner which was always top-notch.
  : There was not much to not like. If I had to say anything, the tv only had local content, but we werent there to watch tv.
