  : Location at walking distance from the beach of Pietrasanta Marina, though a bit further away from the pedestrian area with shops and cafes (12 minute walk or so). The hotel has a nice pool and our room was standard (nothing special) but convenient and had a wonderful view of the sea.
  : The room rate (excluding breakfast) was a bit pricey (but then again, we booked one of the last available rooms and we stayed at the end of the summer).

  : Everywhere was clean and cared for. The parking space at the rear of the property was generous and felt safe. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant room, with a view to the sea, and a generous balcony, furnished with a table and chairs. The bathroom looked as if it had just been fitted! Everything worked and was spotlessly clean. There was plenty of storage space in the huge wardrobe! There was a lift to take us up to our floor. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of items.
  : The signposting for the car park could have been better. The entrance is down a road just before you reach the hotel itself and with the one-way system in the streets around the hotel, if you drive past the hotel you have to go completely around the block in order to access it again. It would have been very useful to have a well-lit magnifying mirror in the room for applying make-up, etc. At night, it was possible to hear other guests in the corridors. I was glad that I had my ear-plugs with me! The only other thing is that although you can see the sea from the windows, there's quite an ugly-looking abandoned hotel to the side, which rather spoilt the view.

  : A bit too expensive considering the age and also equipment of the rooms; I booked dinner in the restaurant - food was ok, but not extraordinary; would recommend one of the many restaurants nearby
