  : Pietrapertosa is one of the most picturesque villages in Italy, but unfortunately you cannot eat scenery. That is why enterprising locals like Sabrina have introduced quality accommodation to encourage tourists to linger and help support the town. We would have liked more time to linger, but were trying to adhere to the Volo D'Angelo schedule. The B+B is full of individual character due to Sabrina's quirky and imaginative style, but remains homely and welcoming. It sleeps a couple and two singles easily in the mezzanine. There is a decent kitchen and a cozy space for lounging. The bedroom was comfortable and had plenty of storage space. The apartment itself is up in the old atmospheric Saracen / Arabatana section. Sabrina supplies a nice simple breakfast and a proper coffee machine. She also generously added a collection of local savoury and sweet biscuits. She was also very attentive and helpful and responded to all requests. Altogether a great stay in a beautiful location.
  : Be aware that Pietrapertosa is a mountain village, and that the villagers control traffic and parking to avoid complete chaos. Most internal roads cannot manage large vehicles. The rear access road to the B+B is local access only, and not really suitable for non-locals. There are designated paid parking spaces outside the centre, but a trip to the centre can be a decent trek with some steep portions. That is true of all accommodation in the village however. If you are familiar with the terrain it will be obvious that some steep hills have to be tackled, so it should not be a surprise.
