  : Lovely people who hosted us, climate and localization, pool outside (even if we did not have the weather:)). Great place!
  : We got a room with low roof, so at night my head got to close to it :p

  : The location is nice and historical, the general impact is nice. The pool looked good too, despite we didn't have time to have a bath.
  : The room was just beneath the rooftop so, as it was summer, it's been extremely hot. The window was extremely small (0.5 mq, i'd say) so the air din't circulate. A room like that simply shouldn't be used during the summer! The lack A/C, even if correctly indicated, is definitely a weak point.

  : Good location close to the village. Pool and pool area are great. There is a big parking lot, however, the entrance is a bit narrow so be careful if you have a big car.
  : There was nobody at the counter for the check-in. We arrived within check-in time, however, in the door it was written a different schedule than online. We had to wait but even with that nobody arrived. Finally we contacted via whatsapp (you'll need internet abroad for that) and we were sent a code and a video to get to the room. We were given a spacious but fresh room but it was extremely hot and we could barely sleep. We were expecting something more on the breakfast side, but it was ok.

  : We stayed in the Torre room which is quite spacious, has a comfortable shays lounge to sit and read a book in, and simply break-taking views of the town and countryside from every window. Breakfast begins with the owner bringing you a delicious pastry and asking what kind of coffee you would like, which he promptly prepares and brings to your table. The rest is a nice self-serve buffet. The exterior grounds are lovely and the pool is a short distance away. There is a very nice house keeper that always had a smile on her face when we saw her. While the owner owns a restaurant in town, there is an absolute gem of a place just a stones throw from this B&B that should not be overlooked; Ristorante Albergaccio di Castelliina. We ate the best meal of our lives there!
  : Unfortunately, there were some negatives about our stay here. There was nobody at the check-in desk when we arrived (still within the check-in time) and no instructions on what to do. That was quite stressful. It would have been nice if the owner had given us a heads up about this when we booked so we could have pre-arranged how to get the key (we had a busy day and didnt know when we would arrive). Fortunately, another lovely couple that was staying here let us in and told us about the video and that it might be on WhatsApp so we connected to wifi in the lobby and retrieved instructions and the key. Wifi did not work in our room. The toilet did not flush well. Both items have been reported in other reviews, so clearly not being addressed. We brought these issues up before the end of our stay and the toilet was attempted to be fixed (but still not flushing well after fix). Wifi never got repaired despite the owner saying it was fixed. When checking out, we asked the owner if he might consider a small discount on our room (we were cordial about this request and didnt demand it) but he quickly became defensive and seemed upset we even asked, saying you paid X Euro a night, what do you expect. As we told him on the spot, we expect the amenities as advertised to function. Seeing as he was upset, we didnt say we have paid the same money elsewhere and received the same advertised *working* amenities, so price clearly isnt a factor here. As we returned to the dinning area to finish our breakfast we heard him utter some curse words under his breath (not very professional, in our opinion) and we sat back down awkwardly as it was clear from looking around at the other guests, they all overheard the conversation. If youre looking for a beautiful property in the middle of a beautiful part of Italy at a very reasonable rate, this is a great place but be prepared for these issues. Owner does not receive criticism well. (I expect he will reply)

  : Good location within a few hundred metres to the village! Francesco and staff excellent and he has a lovely restaurant in the village which we dined several times!
  : Nothing really! Maybe tea making facility in bedroom! But otherwise nothing to dislike

  : Great location for visiting the region of Tuscany, pool area was quiet and pool was clean, the room was cool and comfortable even though it had no A/C. Breakfast was adequate and made a good start to the day. I'd recommend this hotel as it provided everything we wanted from our 4 night stay.
  : Nothing really. The customer interaction was very hands off and we didn't catch up with hotel owner until Day 3, but no issue.

  : The village of Castellina in Chianti is located in the area where the magnificent Chianti Classico red wine is produced. In its surroundings, remarkable landscapes are revealed, many of which can be emblematic of Tuscany and in particular of the famous wine region. The hotel "Villa Christina" is located at the end of the village and offers convenience for a short stay. In the morning we were offered a good breakfast with excellent Italian coffee. By the way, the coffee in Italy is always first class. Nina & Zdravko
