  : The Osteria attached to these apartments is very good. The views from the walls of this hilltop town are splendid. You can walk to nearby towns. The apartment was well equipped for cooking your own meals. The swimming pool located in the gardens of a private home a 7 minute walk downhill from the apartment, was a lovely spot to relax.
  : This place is very high up, lots of steps to climb and the Wifi simply never worked. It can be difficult to get a parking spot.

  : Swimmingpool is sharedpool and a 15 minutes walk mountain- down and up again. The appartment itself is ok although just oke. Some room for improvement

  : Borgo San Valentino is a unique, gorgeous property - when you stay there you feel like you're going back in time. We stayed there for several nights with friends and used it as a starting point for driving around and exploring Umbria. The staff were very friendly and helped us to make reservations at local restaurants we would never have found on our own. I wish we had known to book the restaurant on site in advance as it looked amazing but was unfortunately fully booked by the time we arrived. The breakfast was lovely and quite extensive by Italian standards. We will definitely stay there again, even if only for a night so that we can enjoy a long dinner in the osteria!
  : The wifi didn't really work but we were out most of the day anyway, so it didn't really matter for us. But if you need strong wifi, then bring your own hotspot. If you stay in the winter time before the heat can be turned on, please also be sure to bring warm clothes as the buildings are old (but they do provide plenty of blankets).

  : The Borgo is in a beautiful 8th century village: flowers, little walkways, friendly people. The units are well maintained and simple. The unit we were in, the Falco, was nice/cute. The bathroom is a little tight, but workable. The full bed my wife and I were in was comfortable. The twin bed my daughter slept in was a little hard for her tastes, though. We did take advantage of the kitchenette to prep a few things during the week, but not a ton. It is well stocked. My daughter really enjoyed photographing the village and sketching interesting nooks, details, and beauty she saw.The staff, especially Giuseppe and Marsilio, were great. They accommodated our needs for the week I was there. I was working during the trip, and Giuseppe opened breakfast early for me so I could have a little something before leaving. The cleaning staff that came mid stay were super friendly as well. Note that Giuseppe does not speak a lot of English, but we always managed to find a way to communicate, and he was always so friendly and full of joy. Marsilio was always available via online (email) communication, and super responsive!For the breakfast, I was wishing for eggs some days (I never asked), but the ham, cheeses, tarts, fruit, and yogurt sustained me well enough. Plus, there was always cappuccino, coffee, tea, milk, and juices. It was the same every morning, but everything served was great.There is a supermarket less than a 5 minutes drive where you can grab pretty much anything. Plenty of little places to eat nearby. Marmore Falls is less than 15 minutes away and downtown Terni 20 minutes. Because I was working, I didn't get to explore more, but Narni, which I did visit, was about 30 minutes away and worth seeing.By the way, the restaurant here is fantastic. One of the best meals we had while there, it's worth the drive up. Make a reservation, because it does fill up and is always busy.
  : This is not a complaint, but something to be aware of. Driving can be challenging if you're not used to driving small tight roads in old European villages. I stayed a week, and by the end, I was very comfortable driving up the hill via its tight one-car wide road and switchbacks. We had a MiniCooper Countryman, and I would NOT have felt comfortable in a larger car. It was a tough climb the first time I drove it. Don't listen to your GPS when you come in off the main road and reach the first Y. Go left. Going right first will bring you to a super tight uphill switchback that required a multi-point turn for me. I went left the next time, and never went back to the right hand road. We visited in early June. We had one hot day (80F) where we missed the air conditioning, but that is very much an American thing. Italians are more comfortable in heat. We cracked open the windows, and let the breeze cool us most evenings, and only had to close them some nights due to a dog in the village below barking. :) I used a small noisemaker which helped. The rooms tend to stay cooler, and the evenings cooled down to the 60s.
