  : The person running this place is really kind and makes you feel very comfortable. The breakfast was really nice. The room was comfortable. The stay was very nice. A bit far from Como by public transport, but if you have a car, the other things are so good that the distance to the lake is not such a big deal. One of the best places we stayed in our Italy trip!

  : Room was a bit tiny but it was not congested at all. Amenities & Cleanliness: I really liked the cleanliness of the place. It is maintained by an old couple and they have put in their best effort to keep the apartment tidy. It met all our expectations and there was nothing I would complain about. There was a TV but we didn't use it. There was also a iron box, hangers & shoe horn Furnishing: Apartment had bedsheets, duvets, extra pillows, towels and bath mats. There were also a few toiletries. Language & Communication: Host spoke Italian but they tried their best to communicate with non Italian speakers. I really loved their generosity. Breakfast: Freshly brewed coffee with some home made pies. There were also a few types of store bought breads.

  : The breakfast was ok, fresh croissants, cakes, juices, fresh coffee. Giacomo (sorry if I misspelt your name) - the guy who checked me in was friendly and seemed to be helpful, no doubt about it.
  : I decided to have a last-minute booking to do something else for my birthday this year. I booked a stay in B&B Al Pesce Vela for 3 nights. As I arrived, I had to look for the staff as the place was closed. I thought myself - it is not so bad, it's November - out of season. Giacomo (sorry if I misspelt your name) arrived a bit later. The room and the bathroom were in good size, but quite cold - needed some time to warm it up. Unfortunately, during the night, it was for me impossible to sleep properly. The dog from the neighbouring housings was belling the whole night. Apparently, the issue was already known and been reported before. Moreover, between 6 and 7AM somebody was starting works on the construction site next to the B&B, I guess. I just wanted to get away! Was I really knackered in the morning! I also realised in the morning, that there was no daylight in the room at all. The windows offered no view whatsoever!!! The main windows were darkened from outside and the roof window was covered with a cloth from the inside - do not know why - it maybe was good idea for summertime. I hadn't noticed the darkness of the room the day before as by the time I had arrived as it had almost been dark and was raining. The room because of lack of the daylight was very depressing! I couldn't frankly stay there any longer and say afterwords I had enjoyed my stay. I spoke to Giacomo, just before the breakfast saying that I am afraid I would be leaving shortly and why I'd do so. I was supposed to stay for 3 nights, and I left just after one night, hoping to be back home for the following night. I didn't even discuss financial issue at the time was leaving, but I guess it would be the right thing to refund my money. I think, it would be just decent and appropriate. I'll wait a bit and see what happens. Sorry for giving initially too less stars, my mistake by the evaluation! I did still have a bad, a telly, a bathroom, a breakfast.

  : The room was BIG :-) Even for 4 people. It was very clean and the bathroom was sufficient en hygienic. The restaurant next door was excellent! An absolute must to go to when you stay in the B&B. The owner was a cool guy, very friendly and helpfull.
  : Breakfast was an absolute minimum. It was presented in a friendly way by the owner, a fantastic guy, but we would have liked a little more variation. What was presented was ok and nice. We found the matresses a little hard and the was too much sunlight in the room in the morning: we woke up with the first sunlight...
