  : Room was clean & had air con.Breakfast was good, selection of fruit,yoghurt, bread, croissant,meats etc 8 per person. The view is spectacular.
  : I wouldn't call this a hotel & would not recommend staying here. You are just renting a room in a building. We were in the farthest room down 78stairs. There's no lift, & no offer of help with luggage. No phone in room, no one at reception after 8.30pm, only way out in case of a fire or emergency up 78 steps & then you're locked in & on your own still no access to phone. I didn't feel safe. Restaurant was closed (except for breakfast) & bar closed at 8.30pm. No facilities in the room, just had 1tiny glass between us,so even with our own drinks,no way to drink them. My bedside light didn't have a bulb ( I asked & was told he'd pop down if he could, clearly he didn't want to go up & down 78 stairs either & so still not sorted for our second night). Lovely balcony, but no outside light, so to dark to sit outside at night& too many mosquitos to have for open. Also very noisy 'hotel' chairs scraping on balconies above you, doors slamming, roller shutters being opened and closed, not a restful place to stay. Not ideal position either as a long way from anywhere& buses very limited. We love walking, but the roads are not safe to walk on & you can't take a car to 5terre towns, so you have to get a bus to get a train or ferry. We were here early October. Only restaurant open within walking distance (10 minutes only & great food) but dark dangerous road with no pavements, so need a torch.Would not advise this as a place to stay for visiting cinque terre. You'd be better off at La Spezia & then take the train or ferry. AVOID STAYING HERE.

  : Spacious, great view, accommodating staff. We did not have a sea view room but still had a sea view. It was great! There is a really lovely restaurant about 100m from the hotel and the staff there are so lovely!
  : As much as the staff tried to help, it was awfully isolated. We ended up getting a taxi from La Spezia, but if you can get to Riomaggiore, you can hop on the Shuttle to the hotel and it drops you right at the door.

  : Due Gemelli is positioned high and romantically in the hills of Cinque Terra, the Gulf of Poets. Each well-sized and well-appointed room has its own balcony affording beautiful 180 views of the sea, and the Unesco-protected pine and oak forests below. Our room had an ante-room for boots, luggage, dog bowls, etc. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were fresh and delicious, and the parking was great. The shuttle bus runs from just outside the hotel, and Le Spezia is an easy 10-minute drive away with masses of public parking just as you come into town. Staying here was a totally wonderful experience.
  : The only improvement we could see would be some amenities overnight. A vending machine or the bar opening a bit later with a wider range of snacks and drinks perhaps. We stayed in September so perhaps in high season it is different but visitors at this time of year are advised to bring some snacks and drinks for the room so they can spend as much time as possible looking at the stunning nighttime skies over the sea.
