  : breakfast had plenty of options, walking distance to port and restaurants
  : no blinds, light woke us up early. Old hairdryer and small shower. Needed to pay extra for the fresh orange juice in breakfast

  : The hotel is located not too far from the center of Maddalena city, with free parking nearby
  : We were very disappointed by the staff. On the check out day our son was very sick and we asked the reception to let us stay just a little bit more after the check out hour. Their first answer was that we would have to pay for the late check-out. Really? When some of your guests are feeling sick the first thing to say is: "OK. But there's an extra charge?" Somehow we had the feeling that it was all about the money. From the beginning there was an issue with them and booking.com where we were shown the price for 2 adults +1 kid, we made the booking like this, but found out at the front desk that we have to pay extra for our kid because the room was for three but the price for two. It was actually the first thing we were told. Then their business way with working hours at the front desk until 13.00. After these hours there is an extra charge of about 30 euro for all their assistance. And at the end of our stay the situation explained above. Hospitality business should mean first of all hospitality and then money, money, money. And this applies both to them and booking.com who apparently have an exploit in their booking system (the 2+1 issue)

  : Hotel located 15 mins walk from city center, just by the sea. Rooms are spacious and well equiped and choice of breakfast very generous.
  : There is no reception at the hotel and all the communication informs you about additional fees for asking staff. You can perfectly live without such additional services, but creates odd feeling.

  : The staff was very nice. We met even a Polish waitress - Kasia and she could explain us everything in Polish:) We reccomend this hotel. We got a room with balcony for two where was the kitchen with all the things needed to prepare a lunch or dinner.

  : Excellent room, spacious with kitchenette and balcony, quiet location, close to water, included superb breakfast.
  : Military style control over check-in (30 fee applies if done after 1pm), and rules regarding inventory of room items.. There was a 50 security deposit that was conveniently not mentioned in the confirmation from Booking or the hotel. Never been asked this before! The rules were posted everywhere in the rooms, putting the fear in God into you in case you broke an (IKEA) glass! This spoilt an otherwise perfect stay, as Maddelena was a stunning island and the hotel was of a high standard.. Not situated in the port (old town) it's a 20min walk but worth it!
