  : A lovely clean hotel, in a great area. The terrace at the rear was very nice. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The old market was great and all easy walking distance. We walked from the train station which was easy. The hotel bar was handy and very reasonable
  : We liked the hotel, but here are our suggestions. The pillows were very flat, but we asked for 2 more. The room was quite sparse and it would be nice to have a little fridge and a kettle. The breakfast was a cold buffet with mostly sweet things. More cheese and eggs and maybe a toaster.

  : The property overall is good, but the room allocated to my family (3 people) was not pleasant.
  : The room had a stronger sewage smell. The room's illumination is poor, even in the bathroom. The shower is bad in size and has no place to hold a soap. The shower head had a crack, and water splashed out of the shower forcing you to reduce the water pressure. the bathroom sink was clogged. The mattress is uncomfortable. Because the room in the street level, we have no privacy, too noise, lots of flies and mosquitoes entering the room as there was no protection net. No air conditioning and the fan was terrible.

  : The welcoming attitude of the staff. The breakfast was very good as well. The wifi connection in the room was okay. Location was good as it was 20 minutes away on foot from Brunelleschi's Dome.
  : The room provided felt cold even though we had the AC on heating. Furthermore, the towels were not changed during our 3 night stay. Lastly, we felt that the price we paid was a bit too much considering the hotel.

  : Such a charming, sweet old-fashioned hotel with everything you need in a great location, and such good value for money! I could not get over the amazing staff - the most helpful, friendly, warm people I have come across at a hotel - every one without exception! They really went above and beyond and made my stay so special. My room and the hotel in general was absolutely spotlessly clean and very comfortable in a quiet, safe area, just 1.5 km (20 minute stroll) to the Uffizi gallery, and even closer to the Duomo. The location was perfect for me because it was just outside the chaos of the old city centre, but within such easy reach of all the main attractions. There is also a bus that stops just a few metres from the hotel, so getting there with public transport is a breeze. Lovely breakfast each morning (with the best cappuccino in the world!) overlooking the gorgeous, quaint courtyard which really set me for the day. I loved my time at Hotel Rita Major and would definitely stay here again if I ever get the chance to go back to Florence!
  : Everything was perfect! There was a glitch with communication beforehand but the hotel is aware of this and will sort it out.
