  : You must climb a lot of stairs to and within the hotel. I am fit and capable of managing, but I would not book this hotel if I had any kind of mobility or strength issues.

  : The staircase to the entrance was dirty and I was embarrassed when my friends pointed this out. I also overbooked by 1 night and after many tries I could not reach booking. Com. The host was not helpful in this one matter.

  : Great hotel in Taormina! We really enjoyed our stay. It's a great location right amongst all the restaurants, shops and tourist sights. The host Alessandro was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and affordable. There is a coffee station near the reception area, available for all guests. Just a note that we got a taxi to the Hotel around 7.30pm and the taxi driver wouldn't drive to the hotel, he dropped us just before Porta Messina which was about a 6-7min walk with suitcases to the hotel. It's about a 10-12min walk to the bus station for buses to Catania.

  : The location was wonderful, about 10 min walk from one end of Urso Umberto pedestrian street and near all the main tourist sights. Taormina is not very big so once you are in the historic center, it's easy to walk to everything. The room had a comfortable bed, good AC, a nice balcony with chairs (best part) with great view of amphitheater & a small mini fridge. I enjoyed sitting outside in the evening. I would recommend this place as long as you don't have mobility issues.
  : No dedicated front desk. I picked this place because I thought it was a hotel, which I prefer, so that there is staff in case I have any issues. I just wasn't expecting a remote check in during normal check in hours. Detailed instructions were communicated by WhatsApp. That worked fine this time because I had a phone w/ a data plan but it would have been an issue if I didn't have a working phone with me. I did finally get to meet the staff on checkout day and they were very nice. Also older travelers should be aware that while the hotel has an elevator, there are about 40 steps up to the entrance of hotel. The room had a bathtub and great shower, but the bathtub sides are about 30 inches high so could be difficult getting in for someone with mobility issues. Not an issue with us but could be a problem with others. The room could use an extra outlet or two for charging phones/cameras.
