  : The home itself was quite nice and comfortable for our family of six; we actually had more beds than we needed and plenty of room. There was hiking that could be done right out from the front door, which we did. We liked that the property owner had another two pieces of property that our kids could run around on and explore; that was really nice for them, and us! The view was pretty as well. The property owner was very helpful, giving us plenty of ideas of things to do. The home is located near Colico, which is a smaller town on Lake Como, but several lovely restaurants. I liked that it didn't seem very touristy to us at all. It was a positive for us too that the home was out a bit from the lake and town, and our kids could just go outside and explore!
  : The immediate area around the home was fairly quaint and I enjoyed jogging around a bit, but coming in off the main road you have to go through a fairly large industrial area. In the end it wasn't too big of a deal, because from the home you look over that to the valley and the mountains beyond. So, in the end, that's not a very big negative.
