  : The apartment was very nice inside. Kitchen fully equipped with knives, dishwasher, chopping board, micro wave etc. The bed and pillows super comfortable. At first the wifi did not work. But after a restart it was up and running and was quite fast. The location right by bus station, train station and ferry boats was superb.
  : You Can tell from the general ways of communication with the host that its a business, not very personal.. you get quite a lot af automated mails, and requests to fill out forms, take contact of your arrival. Normally on booking.com you Can do These things easy via booking.com. With italian away they have their own platforms of communication thrown into the mix which is confusing.I got several requests to take contact before we came - did just that and in good time following instructions. Even so the host was not there to receive us when we arrived..Then theres the contract they Force you to sign also with a lot of automated e-mails telling you to sign. And when you have signed it- they send you more mails telling you sign it even more.A part of the contract says that if you break a glass or other small things - you will be charged 40 euroes. My 3 year Old son of course broke one by mistake. So now we look forward to paying 40 euroes for a cheap ikea glass. Is this fair? In my opinion when you rent out an apartment you have to calculate with small losses like this free of charge.Then theres the fact that you cant get help after 21.00 if something happens. Their phone is dead from that time and til 9.00.No one told us that you cant use the washing machine and oven at the same time. When we did on our first night all power went out and could not be switched back. Be had to seek help from the Neighbourghs who had Keys to a power box in the lower level of the building. There they could turn the power back on.With no help from Italian away, an apartment in total Dark with scared children, and frustrated neighbourghs - For this experience alone I would say a refund of the first nights rent would be fair and make us even on the 40 euro Wine glass.Finally when we were to check out - no had told us what to do about the key. We got through to Italianaway, who wanted us to come to their Office in the other end of town.

  : -50 stairs up to the room with no lights.-Extremely noisy outside at night.-Bed mattress was old and a bit worn out.-Host no longer responded to queries the day after we checked in.-Hot water was off and on in shower on some days.-Did not meet host. Check in was done on my cell phone prior to arrival. Lengthy forms, and I don't like giving mh passport information online.

  : First of all, the apartment doesnt have air conditioning, only 2 extremely noisy and inefficient fans. We couldn't even open the windows, there was no mosquito net, so even though it was cold outside at night, it was constantly above 30 degrees in the apartment. In the bathroom there arent windows, also an ancient vent in the ceiling, with an incredibly loud engine.Second of all, the apartment is situated in the bus station and above some little restaurants, so, it is noisy late in the night and very early in the morning.Also, it is situated at last floor, in an old building, without elevator, maybe is good to know if you have heavy or bulky luggage.

  : Convenient location. The apartment was clean.
  : There was no internet the first day. I had an important zoom meeting scheduled, which is why I booked a place that included internet. I had to tether from my phone which cost more money for roaming and got disconnected several times. After the first few messages to the property owner, they said the internet should work now because it is now paid. However, the internet did not work until the following day.
