  : Very nice and helpful hostess Relatively good location - 15 min walking from the bus/railway station, good for those who plan to use Catania as a base for day trips to Etna, Syracuse, Taormina and etc. The apartment is located in an old Italian building with very high ceilings, very authentic and interesting from the perspective of exploiting local culture.   : The room we received was right behind the family kitchen and unfortunately we could hear every movement there - cooking late dinners, someone snacking during the night, having quite loud conversations on the phone. There is a glass portion in the door in the room, so we could also see the turning on and off light in the kitchen, which was disturbing during the night. We talked to the hostess about the noise after our first night there and the second night was better, but the third night was loud again. There was no separate entrance as it was supposed to be in the description of our accommodations. I personally felt that the pictures on the booking look way better than the room we received. Specifically, while reviewing the photos here, I had an impression that it would be a barock styled accommodation, but in reality it was rather an older room with randomly placed items from an antique store, but that may be a matter of taste.

  : Breakfast good. You have to arrive at the time you have put down (or let them know!) Quite eccentric, someone is good at interior decorating with antiques but really for the money the place needs upgraded.
  : Bathroom - very dated, no proper shower, no plug for the bath. Needs updating.

  : Place was close to bar, metro, and a nice breakfast.
  : Very noise, not isulation, I had I green light in my room, was for emergensy light, but was too bright, in my room was smells like sewer, also not net for mosquito, in sicily is very important because is full of mosquitos. I don't like to use AC, i prefer keep windows open, my bed was very small, and at the end my room was complicate to rich, because were narrow stars.
