  : The location is great, in the middle of the university district. There are loads of students around so it can be a bit noisy but we loved it. Great restaurants and bars all very close by and a short walk from the centre of town. Staff were all great and helpful. We especially loved the maitra de at breakfast, she was great!
  : This hotel hasn't had any decorating done in 40 years. The quality of the interiors is really bad. The door to the room is plastic, the furniture is plastic, the wardrobe door wouldn't stay closed, the bed was uncomfortable and the pillow was horrible. The art on the walls was falling out of the frames. The decor in the breakfast room was cocktail glasses with plastic beads and fake flowers that looked like it's been there since the 90s. Considering how expensive the room was I was shocked at how tired and dated the place was! The food at breakfast was rubbish, even the coffee wasn't very good and this is in Italy! Good food should be easy. Absolutely not worth the price! They must be making a fortune and haven't spent a penny improving or modernising. Very disappointing.

  : The breakfast was lovely with a wide variety of choices and all the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is very central and it's easy to reach everything in the city. The hotel staff gave us a list of good restaurants to try in all price categories which was really helpful. They make lovely coffee as one would expect in Italy.
  : On first approaching the hotel we noticed a lot of graffiti in the streets around it but we learned that this can be attributed to the high number of students around...many of who were in and around the square nearby, but the overall atmosphere in the area was very good vibrant.
