  : Breakfast was wonderful! Fresh eggs, sliced meat, delicious fruit, perfect croissants, tea and cappuccino. The view is lovely. We went in the off-season so we didnt get the chance to eat outside but it would be a great way to start your day. The hosts, Luigi and Alfonsita are kind and helpful.
  : No big deal for us, but might be for you: the large bed was the old type where two beds are pushed/zipped together. It meant one of us had to sleep on the hump where the mattresses were joined- not terribly comfortable but we could have slept farther apart if we wanted to! If you take a rental car there (you definitely do not need a rental car!!!), beware of driving directions by Google Maps. We had a fantastic adventure trying to find the place. Google directed us to take the car up some stairs near the cemetery!!! Had a great laugh at that!!!! Theres an entrance accessible by small car but it further west from the cemetery. Definitely do not rent a wide vehicle!!! The road is more like a walking path. LOL

  : Despite it's name there is nothing "luxury" about this room, which is fairly small and basic and divided from the office/kitchen area by just a connecting door, making it subject to a lot of disturbance. Anyway we wouldn't have complained if this was the only matter, though the important things being the beautiful and said-to-be peaceful surroundings and the convenient location above Anacapri.Imagine our suprise when we were woken up from our sleep late at night but hell breaking loose in the form of an Ibiza style party with massive bass all over the premise that made it impossible to sleep in our room. This kept on going for hours, and finished off by the staff screaming and fighting in the kitchen (5 mm from our room) for another hour until 3am, together with the handling of massive amounts of empty glass bottles. At 6 am the cleaning staff began their work and so the noise was on again. To describe it lightly, our night was horrible.We tried to talk to the male owner during the night and he just asked us to be patient and the party would soon end. We asked why we were not informed of the event taking place so we could have booked another stay for our only night in Capri, and he said that the party had been scheduled after we made our reservation. We then asked why they did not inform us or simply unbooked us, since these were extraordinary circumstances under which no one not connected to the party would have agreed to stay, he could not answer.We were not informed of this event taking place, either beforehand or during our check in. When we approached the staff the morning after to ask for a explanation and a refund, the male owner were not around and we were answered by the female owner, who spoke no English whatsoever and hid behind her malfunctioning translation app. Suddenly the male owner pops out from a back room, half naked and obviously drunk, screaming and tries to hit my husband in the face!
