  : The view from the terrace was nice. Room was clean. Breakfast was 5/10.
  : I wish I had looked at the comments, I'm sure someone had commented about the stairs. If I knew there were so many stairs, I would never, ever stay here. It is not practical at all, one does not want to go out, thinking about how to get back. The towels were soft and not big. The bed was really incredibly uncomfortable.

  : it had nice views from the terrace, the room had a nice view, central location, reasonable price for Amalfi. the area is also quite quiet.
  : there was no safe. we also couldnt get clean towels during our first 3 nights and even if we asked for our room to be cleaned. on our last night we ask our room not to be cleaned but they came and cleaned it and left fresh towels. we also found someones hair on the shower when we arrived. this was cleaned later. there were no options for breakfast and it included ricotta, tomato, croissant, toast, home made jam and Nutella and a yoghurt (no choice) every day. you can also get coffee and black tea but we are not huge coffee or tea drinkers so some other options like fruit or herbal tea or hot chocolate would have been nice. There are also quite a lot of stairs to the property so bare this in mind if youre travelling with luggages.

  : Beautiful view from the terrace with great sunrises. Nice complimentary breakfast on the terrace. Cute and simple seaside interior. Quiet spot just away from the crowds of Amalfi. Easy access to main drag and ferries/buses.
  : Many steps up to the property (so be aware with luggage) but this is par for the course in this area and enables you to have a great view.

  : The hotel is located right above the port of Amalfi, high above. It has a big terrace on the roof and the view is lovely, especially at night. Breakfast is nice and is served by Anna which does all she can to satisfied the guests.
  : The BIG drawback of the hotel is the way to access it. We got the directions from the hotel receptionist, Mena, and it was nightmare. Getting from the public parking which is about 800 meters from the hotel but about 100 meters lower also. This means that we had to climb about 250 stairs up thru a maze of staircases which is really not for anyone to do, especially when carrying 2 large suitcases of 23KM each. You can hire a carry service to help you with the luggage for 15 euro each. But, if you want to avoid this extra cost then what should you do is leave your luggage with someone at the east side of the hotel (right by the small road tunnel end), take the car to the parking and then come back (walking on the busy road is dangerous) and climb up to the hotel using only 44 stairs. If I knew about this option then I'd save my self a lot of sweat and tears. Getting down and up to the main piazza is by the long way, even without the luggage it's still like an hour at the gym.

  : To be honest, after climbing the first 100 stairs up to this hotel I began to doubt our choice, especially caring a heavy pack. But I had read from others that this was the case and that the view would be worth it. They were right. Yes, it is 125 stairs and several ramps to the top, but what a top it is. We had the one downstairs room, which had just a tiny window for ventilation but no view. However, all we had to do was step out the front door and 3 feet away was a huge drop straight down and out to the harbor below. The room had wifi, a nice shower, was clean and quiet at night. The sweeping views were even more exceptional from the two more flights of stairs through the hotel to the top. This was the balcony where you have breakfast. An incredible view in a beautiful location. The breakfast was good. Choice of coffee, juice, hard boiled eggs, toast, yogurt, plate of mozzarella cheese and tomatoes, and the best croissant we had in Italy! The lady did not speak English, but that didn't matter. There are at least 4 more rooms upstairs, but I enjoyed the quiet of our downstairs one. Either way, you can't go wrong. Over the course of the next 3 days we must have climbed and descended those stairs about 10 times, and yes, it seemed shorter and easier every time. A great price, a great view, a great place to enjoy Amalfi.
  : Adding a funicular to the top would be nice. Seriously, not much to complain about.
