Set amongst olive groves and 250 hectares of private land Agriturismo Le Roghete produces honey and extra-virgin olive oil. It organises horse riding lessons around Monte Rufeno Nature Reserve. Apartments have wood-beamed ceilings and a cosy fireplace.

Each one features a fully equipped kitchenette. Free parking is provided and there is a BBQ out in the garden. Le Roghete is a rustic farmhouse just 10 minutes' drive from Acquapendente.

Set on the edge of the nature reserve it is 50 km from the ski slopes of Monte Amiata.

: Location superb, staff superb, wifi terrible ( had to do video call of work which went badly), food acceptable, not what we expected from a similar structure and not for the price we paid.
: Bed was uncomfortable, food good but not to expectation, but this is a very subjective point, as we are Italian and have very high expectations as far as food is concerned. I am quite sure the quality of the food will supersede 99% of visitors expectations.

: We only stayed for one night at Le Roghete, but it was the most authentic agriturismo during our stay in Italy and we had an amazing night. Even though there were some language barriers as we dont speak Italian and Massimo doesnt speak English, he was the most warm and friendly host. There is a beautiful view from the terraces with olive groves and hills everywhere - a perfect place to enjoy the sunset. As the evening went on the moon also came up behind the hills - beautiful!Massimo cooked us the best local meal of several courses made on homegrown vegetables, homemade pasta, oil, honey and wine. And the rest of the ingredients were from the area. When we couldnt eat it all, he wrapped it for us to bring on our journey the next day. We ended up buying a lot of the products to bring home.
