  : The rooms were spacious, and its in a good location after exploring the Golden Circle and needing somewhere to rest.
  : The staff were for the most part unfriendly (except for one woman who was apologetic when they missed my room service order and I had to go to the lobby/restaurant to check on it after an hour). They recommend you book in at their restaurant, but we wanted to try the local eateries - which were all closed, but said they were open online. I asked a staff member if they had any availability for 2 at their restaurant for dinner at any time that night and she said they were fully booked, only I checked the online bookings an hour later and they had seatings available for 8pm and 8:30pm. To give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they had a cancellation

  : Clean, warm & good size room and bathroom. Upper end toiletries from LOccitane were much appreciated. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options (scrambled egg, boiled egg, bacon (even though we dont eat pork) waffle maker, different bread, croissants which were very good, Lysi (Icelandic fish oil) shots to try. Different jams & butter, oatmeal, cheese, avocado, fruit salad, chia pudding, yogurt etc They had hot tubs but we didnt use them. The only issue we initially had but was solved was the bathroom door was unlocked that leads outside to the terrace. We couldnt figure out how to lock it. Its a very different mechanism then what we are used to. So I would recommend checking the bathroom door and making sure it is locked before taking a shower or sleeping for the night.

  : Replace shower curtain with a door (the shower curtain hugs you the entire time). Could use better mattress and pillows.

  : Shelf next to tall mirror would be helpful for those styling hair etc
