  : The Ferry Boat is in a great location in the small town of Portmagee. The bed was very comfortable and there were tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom. The shower pressure was amazing, and there was shampoo and bodywash in the shower for guest use. There was also a basin in the bedroom which was handy. It was easy to access the property through a lockbox and the communication from the hosts was easy to follow.
  : The room I booked had a separate bathroom which had a sign on saying it was exclusively for the use of the guests in my specific room, but I'm not sure if other guests always respected that. It would be good to have a key for the bathroom too. There was a security light in the neighbours driveway which lit up every time their small yappy dog ran past it, which was quite frequently through the first night of my stay. The dog was also very vocal, and had a very long and loud barking fit at 2am. It might be worth mentioning that to the neighbours as it was quite disturbing. Overall the stay was lovely and I wouldn't hesitate to book again

  : I was room only. The guest house is very convenient to the harbour where the boats leave for Skellig Michael. Portmagee is a very small village and the accommodation is very central.
  : I didnt speak to anyone in the guest house and I would consider the accommodation adequate for one night and move on. The bathroom was tiny and the room was just ok.
