  : There was nobody to serve us breakfast at 9am. I gather he had overslept so we helped ourselves to cereal but it was too late for a cooked breakfast or coffee which is what we would have liked. Waitress a bit surly at dinner.

  : Location right before starting climbing Mount Brandon is everything.
  : Beer (even non alcoholic) was 7 a Pint - receipt doesnt show what your actually ordered, we arrived quiet early (around 3pm) from Dunquin hiking and got a nice looking room - right next to the vent from the kitchen. We asked for a room facing the other direction, got another key from an older guy on the reception (which was facing the same direction, but a bit quieter), 5 minutes later a woman came and told us that it was already booked (which I dont believe) and we went back to the old room. After we told her that the noise is irritating she got angry and walked away. She could have been understanding and apologizing but no she told us that no one ever complained about that (so it isnt a valid point?!). Service is a key for customer satisfaction when you charge 160 per night, not just nice sheets.They turned down the vent when the restaurant closed (around 9.30pm, started again at around 7am). We had to sit there several hours reading our book and resting from the walk while hearing the sound of a really loud vent. Going to the pub wasnt an option for us, as it is more a restaurant and not cozy at all. And dont try to open a window if you dont like the smell of fried food. No tea or coffee in the room itself - all other B&Bs on our tour had that (and were cheaper), sockets are hidden behind the nightstands - to charge your phone you have to move furniture. Toiletseat was loose. Staff is not really available if you have questions because they also work in the restaurant. The shoes they put in the drying room were not dry the next day - we should have kept them and dried them on the radiator. Breakfast was disappointing, we were a few minutes early but they did not open the door until it was exactly 8am, but coffee was really good - which we hadnt had to wait for because we were the first ones there.
