  : Great location for exploring County Donegal. Cottage felt like a home from home. Host greeted us on arrival and made sure we were happy with everything. Close enough to Ardara for all our supplies.
  : Wasn't really walking distance to Ardara but was only a short drive so not a problem.

  : Wonderful! Where do I start? The welcome by our host John was warm. He explained every detail of the large holiday home to us. As a welcome, there was a cake on the kitchen table and fresh milk in the fridge. On the first night, a piece of roofing felt rattled in the storm, but when we informed John about it, he was inconsolable and repaired the damage in no time. The flat was suber and tiptop. The view from the living room windows into the bay is great, from the garden as well in suitable weather. The few cars on the only road on this headland are out in the morning and evening, at night there is absolute silence. The location is excellent for experiencing the near and far surroundings. You can also walk to Ardara. An interesting little place with the very best gastronomy (John gave us the very best tips). Only people with a penchant for minimalism should be told what John's wife told us: A gentleman from Scotland commented on the furnishings of the flat with "Depersonalize it". We laughed a lot when we heard that, he has a point. So it was only on the third day that we discovered that the bouquet on the shelf was made of real flowers - it didn't necessarily catch the eye amidst all the pictures and decorative items. Nevertheless, this flat is a perfect place to stay.
  : A few more free spaces perhaps in the living room and bathroom would make it easier to deposit one's own things. ;-)
