  : The location was perfect. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our loft room was so peaceful and the comfy bed meant we had a fantastic night sleep
  : As a 5* luxury branded hotel, I would have expected a turn down service in the evening, removing towels used during the day etc. While there was a wardrobe with plenty of hangers, there wasnt much in the way of drawer space. There were two drawers in the wardrobe of which one was a built in safe leaving one small drawer for two of us to share. Our flannels also werent replaced in the bathroom after initial use so we were left without by the end.

  : The Matild was everythign you expect from a well-run, highly rated hotel. We were greeted with champaign and shown our rooms with no fuss. The room was amazing, exactly as pictured. The staff were super pleasant and helpful. The room was also quiet, though I'm not sure how much of that was because it was on the top floor and thus we had no footfalls above us or how much was due to the soundpoofing they say they have installed. Everythign was immaculately clean and all the amenities were refreshed every day. (espresso machine pods, waters, etc.) the location was amazing, right in the heart of Pest about a 2 minute walk from the Danube and 20 minute walk to mostly everything else you'd want to see in Pest.
  : Our only problem was that our room's air conditioner didn't work. being at the top of the hotel as well as having HUGE (beautiful) windows meant that the room heated up to about 80 degrees during the day. The air conditioner couldnt' keep up and then it started blasting warm air. After troubleshooting during the day they thought they had it fixed and so did we, but after we returned from a late dinner (around midnight,) it was blasting hot air again. They quickly sent someone up and then equally as quickly offered us another room on the same floor. We chose to move that night, and they sent up help for us to quickly move our bags. The new room was in a slightly different configuration and didn't offer the same space to store our clothes, or the same beatuful view, and it was east-facing so that we got the full brunt of the morning sun through the floor to cieling windows, but it was otherwise just as nice as the other room . They were VERY appologetic and gave us a free bottle of wine and a hand-written note of appology. Overall we were satisfied with how they fixed our problem. I'd certainly stay there again.
