  : Our stay at Villa Cezar August for 1 night. Arrived at the property after a long 5 hour drive only to find that the host was not there but left instructions on where to locate the room key. We had been promised a room with a balcony and sea view. The room smelt of damp and there were small black flies everywhere on the ground. Did not feel as if the room had been aired. The room had a balcony but no sea view. We rang the owner who said that the sea view room had been flooded and this is all she had. NO apologies! We had to accept this as it was late and we had paid in full already. Once settled, checked what time breakfast was provided. In the room, there was an information booklet about the property stating that breakfast was served from 7.00am to 10.00am. Our booking was confirmed including breakfast. Next morning at 8am, went to the restaurant on the ground floor. There was no one around and no sign of any breakfast. A maid who spoke no English approached who then tried to call the owner. The owner denied ever offering breakfast despite our email confirmation. After many phone calls she suggested that her maid will run out and buy something and cook us breakfast. The dining area did not look as if it had been used for months and was dark and dingy. We declined the offer and the owner then said she will offer us 8 euros between two of us to compensate us for not offering breakfast! By this time we were starving and thirsty so accepted this and walked to the local beach to find something to eat. There were only a couple of cafes which we could see and they said their kitchen did not serve until 11am!! There were no supermarkets we could easily walk to get some water. Not once did we receive any apologies, the owner was argumentative on the phone and the maid hostile. I would never recommend this property and it does not deserve the three stars it has been given. It ruined what was a beautiful holiday in Croatia.

  : The location is very central to the beaches, the waterfront, restaurants and the diving centre. The hostess, Ivana, was very attentive to my needs and very helpful.

  : Clean room and accurate to the description of amenities.
  : There was no reception active or open when I arrived with the common areas shown in the photos closed with key.I managed to find a cleaning lady that was preparing the rooms and that did not spoke any English, she was helpful, contacted the hosts and managed to get me to my room and gave me my key.I contacted the host through Booking a few times and was unable to get any reply (still haven't got it after the checkout).I got the WiFi password from other guests that had it, as the one written in the room was for a network that didn't existed.Overall pretty bad service from a place that shows photos of a lovely reception and shared spaces areas.

  : It was very close to the airport
  : We arrived at 11 pm and they told us , the checkin will be possible until 12 . No one was at the reception and we needed to call a number . We had a problem to find the room and open the door ( is a trick to open it) . Also we booked a twin room and it was a double bed .

  : It was a very reasonable price and we got in late, key was left for us and we were able to get in and get some sleep before heading to Split.
  : The reception wasn’t open in the morning at all, it was closed with a sigh saying ‘reception broken’. There was crack in skirting boards allowing ants to get in on the floor - quite a lot of them.

  : Location was very handy for the airport, with a nice view out of the window and very near a beach. the property was good value for money and reasonably spacious. there was adequate WIFI and parking was provided.
  : Reception was closed and I had to deal with a cleaning lady who spoke no english. Although everything was sorted out over the phone and we did get our key and the WIFI code without problems, it felt quite impersonal. The toilet cistern filling mechanism was damaged, and although it was possible to us the flush, it was necessary to switch on and off the water tap to the cistern after filling it to prevent the toilet running constantly. When reported to the staff we met in the morning check out, they told us they knew about it, but while it did not actually cause much inconvenience, it would have been nice to be informed at the point we took the room, rather than find out that the toilet did not flush and that on inspection someone had turned the water off, and after turning it on to discover that the filling mechanism was disfunctional.
