  : The host is lovely and truly tries to make you feel welcome. The apartment is large enough for a family of three or even four, the location is great and the views are fantastic. It is a three minute walk to a small nearby beach and a 10-15 minute walk to the larger beach with restaurants. You can also find scenic routes for running starting from the apartment.
  : The payment procedure through an agency is cumbersome. Also, you'll have to pay the second part in cash on site. I really don't understand why we could not settle everything by card, the exchange rates for withdrawing cash in Croatia are cutthroat (9-14% interest at all the ATMs I've tried). Communication with the host is in Croatian only, so if any issue comes up you're lost if you don't speak it. We spent a total of around two hours to settle all the administrative issues for our stay with the agency (when and if available by phone) and a friend acting as our translators. WiFi stability is on a 90s level, I kept getting kicked out of my connection.
