  : Beautiful views from apartment ,breakfast was great wide range of choice ,homemade omelette! Lovely very friendly and helpful staff .nothing was to much trouble.
  : Could do with more storage space, no mirrors in bedrooms, although big one in loudge area, and bathroom. No teaspoons for tea!! Nice for a short stay, hand luggage, as we had.

  : Villa Dard provides basic but comfortable accommodation. It is not a hotel and apart from room cleaning provides no services, although breakfast is available if ordered. Our room was quite good enough although the tiny shower room was a bit of a squeeze. The room could have done with a small fridge. We had a large terrace overlooking the busy 4 lane road at the front of the building. Double glazing mitigated the noise at night. Apart from an Italian cafe/restaurant and a food store there are no eateries or other shops close by. It is only a 10 minute walk, downhill, to the restaurants and sights of the Old City via a network of traffic free alleys. Walking back, uphill, is more of a challenge and we never mastered the bus system. The family running Villa Dard were charming and helpful in every way. Villa Dard is a reasonably economic choice for a sight seeing visit to Dubrovnik for a day or so.

  : We chose a suite with an outdoor terrace to have room to relax. Warm welcome and lots of help with parking the motorbikes at the property which worked out fine. Nice outdoor communal seating areas. Good breakfasts (extra). Easy 10-15 minutes' walk up and down steps to the old town.
  : Not as relaxing as we hoped. Charming old building but suite in need of some renovation to feel comfortable. Unfortunately sitting on the terrace wasn't really possible due to street noise (but fine in the room with windows closed).

  : Handy location in walking distance of Dubrovnik Old Town. Staff very pleasant and helpful; Villa Dard arranged airport transfer shuttle.

  : Operation run more like a VRBO. Its been awhile since someone checked out the room and fixed the small things, like a broken towel rack, a jammed bathroom door, and window louvers.
