  : The location was perfect for us. We love the country-side intimacy atmosphere and the view, as well as the vicinity to the best beaches and attractions in western Crete.
  : Sometimes the maintenance could be better. But everything is clean and Dimitra is the most willing person that we could get.

  : Lady hired to maintain the property was amazing and helped with everything. Pool was clean.
  : This accommodation is clearly past its prime time for which it has its reviews.Most notably, their booking description had extra room which wasnt there. We specifically looked for 3 bedrooms, so this created quite a bit of inconvenience for us. Owner fully ignored our complaints or request for partial reimbursement.To mention some more:- pool had very sharp bottom, so all kids and 1 adult ended up with cuts on feet- AC in the largest room was broken and leaked on the ground- washing machine was broken - fully leaked to ground- on arrival there were ants even in bedrooms or bathroom- 1st shower had broken showerhead, 2nd had broken doors- internet was very slow and unstable

  : We had an amazing stay at Maria Villas! The villas was set in a picturesque, peaceful location up in the hills. It felt secluded and like a luxurious treat on a budget! The swimming pool was wonderful and pool side bar lovely for breakfast and lunch. Dimitra was an amazing host, she went out of her way to help us with recommendations and was always there with a kind smile! We were so impressed by how much love and care she puts into running the villas, it added a really special touch! Dimitra served us a wonderful traditional breakfast, it is highly recommended!! Our room itself was wonderful, it was traditional and comfortable and full of character. I would also note that this location will require a car unless you are happy to do lots of steep walking around the hills to get into the town (I imagine it would take quite a long while and not doable at night). We hired a car and found this to be excellent, the drive was only 12 minutes into town navigating the rural roads/hills where you can find tavernas and restaurants and Chania was 45 minutes by car. Molos lounge was an excellent spot on the beach for the day! We found Chania wonderful and visited there 3 times during our stay as we loved it so much! We also went to Balos island which was wonderful (ferry recommended over risking damaging hire car on bumpy costal road)
  : At a real stretch if we had to find improvements, the shower screen could be replaced as it was cracking in places, and we would have loved an extra bin in the lounge. But it really was amazing and we will definitely stay again if we return to Kissamos!
