Hellen Studios

Wonderful

: The host was great! He greeted us on arrival, explained everything, and helped us with what we required. The location is great if you are staying here to be close to the beach. To town, it's about 16mins on foot downhill, and uphill back to Hellen Studio.

: The location is not bad, but neither is it the best. The nearby beach is not very good and is on the side of the road. It's not far from the bus stop or the centre, but it's not very comfortable in the heat when you're on foot either.
: Unfortunately I do not recommend the place. It was a very negative experience. The room they provided me was in front of the main entrance and next to the reception, with no privacy at all, as it had a window whose curtain was not dark and was directly to this entrance. Also it was very noisy all the time, from early morning until late at night, every kind of noise possible, including children screaming and crying, etc. They had LOTS of mosquitoes and nothing to alleviate this, even with the room all closed. But the worst of all was in the middle of summer, with very high temperatures and paying a high value for the simplicity of the room because it was high season was not being entitled to use the air conditioning for free. It was necessary to pay 5 euros per day for the use of air conditioning, with no alternative fan or any rational option. This is nowhere described in the property advert. I felt aggrieved and had a very bad night's sleep. Really not worth the stay.

: The accommodation is very well located, clean and there are no frills. It did the job. The lovely owner helped me with washing and recommending restaurants. The balcony was lovely overlooking a huge vegetable garden.
: The owner could maximise space by putting bunk beds in the room, instead of two single beds for kids, along with the double bed for parents. And a big piece of basic, even home made, art on the wall would look great.
