Mazaraki Guesthouse

Set amidst lush greenery at an altitude of 600 metres the traditionally built Guesthouse Mazaraki is situated close to the picturesque village of Mystras offering views of the Byzantine castle of Mystras and the city of Sparta or western views of Mount Taygetos. An outdoor pool is provided while a wine bar “Corfes” with selected Greek and local wine labels is featured on the ground floor. A library and board games are also available. Mazaraki Guesthouse consists of 4 independent buildings offering double rooms and suites either with one or two bedrooms. Uniquely decorated with well-chosen furnishings all units open out to a balcony.

Flat-screen TV sets and free WiFi are included. Most offer a furnished living room with fireplace. Free wood for the fireplace may be delivered as well as DVD’s and information on local fine cuisine or nightlife can be provided. A breakfast basket including homemade pies jams fresh eggs and oranges and homemade bread is provided daily. Homemade meals prepared with local ingredients can be provided on request and at extra charge.

Mazaraki Guesthouse is located in a wooded area with an abundance of mountain springs and streams. Electric bikes can be rented. It lies within 4 km from Mystras 9 km from Sparta and 1 km from the Byzantine Castle.
