  : Location is very nice, area is beautiful. Host is very nice
  : We were 5, but there were only 4 chair, 4 forks, NO knives There are laundry facilities advertised, but no dryer or a place to hang your clothes. Day before last the room was not tidied up, same as the days before, unsure if it is a policy or not. There are no personnel always on site, Communication is by phone, in my case international call to cellphone is quite expensive.

  : The room (I went for a superior studio) was excellent. Really nicely done with comfy bed, kitchenette, obviously ensuite, and plenty of space. It was also very clean. The surroundings are nice and you are very close to the lake - although you need to walk down the road that runs alongside the lake to get to it. The lady who effectively runs it day-to-day, Vasileia is brilliant. You're also quite close to the village of Kerkini (5 min drive) where there are several good tavernas and a decent mini-super market + cafe.
  : This is not necessarily a negative (depends what you want from it) but I guess because they have 'studio' rooms you get larger groups of people than you might in a traditional hotel/B&B. When I was there it felt more like a campsite than a hotel and I had groups of people outside my room for most of one evening (there are benches). This meant it was pretty noisy until late, which was a bit frustrating but goes with the territory. I never met the owners, and Vasileia left at around 5pm - so after that, if you need advice etc there is no-one around (or if there are, I had no idea how to contact them). If you're there for birds then, although it looks like a better side of the lake to the east (e.g shallow bays) it isn't. The east side has a track that you can walk all the way along it. The west (this side) - you're on the road and most of the better locations mean you have to drive for 30 mins or so to reach them. Kitchen needed some more pans and utensils - fine if you just wanted a salad.

  : Nice location in the nature. Beautiful Farm. We had the possibility to ride a horse and to have a walk to the Kerkini Lake. Great breakfast. We will come back again to try the boat trip and also we will take our bikes, because there is a perfect conditions for bicycles.
