  : Beautiful property in Santorini - I daresay the only true five-star hotel in the area. Beautiful grounds, lovely staff, great location a few minutes walk into town. We had an early flight out and got breakfast bags to go, which was nice.
  : No heat in the rooms, outside pools arent heated hot tubs, windows from bathrooms directly face the public street so theres a lot of foot traffic and street noise, location is hard to find with car rental. We also dined at the hotel restaurant Selene, which was very salty and expensive for what it was (restaurant separate operation from the hotel that the hotel later acquired, IIRC). Weve dined at Michelin restaurants all over the world and Europe especially, and this wasnt quite Ip to par. The restaurant staff seemed a little inexperienced for an alleged Michelin star restaurant - they only cleared breadcrumbs once at the very end of the meal and we waited 20 minutes for water and bread, both of which we had to request. Big hullabaloo about the sourdough bread presentation (which was delicious) but we sat down at 8pm and only finished the sourdough bread presentation after 9:30pm.
