  : The staff were great but had expected a room upstairs as usual. I needed a bit more information on arrival, for instance that there was a shutter to pull down to cut the outside light, the Wi-Fi I think I couldnt make work I; that room and I like a bath and not a shower.

  : Room as it was 29 years ago but definitely tastefully updated View always has been brilliant. Carpaccio was perfect and unspolit with ridiclous sauces as with most of the other dishes. Reception staff most helpful.
  : Bistro restaurant has lost its way. Red wine served VERY cold on both nights. A demented chef who ruins what always should be plain fish dishes with 'jus' that hides the delicate taste of escargot as well as coquilles san jacques. Leave the nouvelle cusine in the restaurant upstairs and go back to what used to be tasty dishes. Breast of chicken that was cooked perfectly but was so tough as to make it impossible to cut. The chicken must haver died of old age. Oysters had been opened so long they were drying out. A lemon supplied with the oysters beautifully carved burt it was impossible to extract any juice from it. Stop seving Nouvelles Cusine in the Bistro. Waiter staff could be more focussed on the guests and not chatting with the kitchen staff. Used to be one of the best fish restaurants. Due to a demented nouvelles cusine chef the beutilful fish dishes have become industinguishable form what they were.
