  : Fantastic mattress.
  : The bathroom was not the most comfortable. It needs updating but I can see that they are already working on improvements. I definitely would stay again in this hotel.

  : The room was very small with little storage space for clothes and the furniture was shoddy. The windows could not be opened. The bathroom needed an upgrade and it had no ventilation. When checking out, the receptionist could find no evidence of our prepayment. After some time we had to leave our luggage with her as collateral without resolving the matter because we had an appointment with friends. On our return it appeared the problem had been resolved.

  : The location was perfect as we knew having been to Evreux many times. WE usually stay elsewhere but decided to try this hotel as we had seen it and it looked pleasant from the outside. The concierge was very pleasant and when we had to complain he returned to the property after having left for the night.
  : Unfortunately there were serious problems. We arrived as the porter was leaving. He gave us the key and sent us to find the room . It was up a circular staircase which was difficult as I have to use a walking stick. We asked about parking which was an extra 6 euros despite there being a free car park across the road. We opted to park free. When we arrived at the room the key was very difficult but we got in eventually only to discover wet towels and unchanged sheets. We contacted the porter, who had already locked up and left but who immediately returned to the property. He found us another room, thankfully on the ground floor. This was clean and was actually a larger room, and a good shower, although , once again the key caused us some problems. From then on the night was uneventful. The plus side was that the porter was friendly and helpful and clearly upset that the original room had not been cleaned. However he did not offer any compensation for our inconvenience. This was especially annoying as we discovered that we could have got a better rate by booking directly with the hotel instead of through Booking.com !!! The Hotel Normandie is old and run down and we will not be returning. We usually stay at the Greet Hotel which is round the corner and is always reliable, clean, helpful and friendly. The desk is open all night and we can park in a locked car park. The Normandie was a distinct disappointment.

  : Lovely olde worlde hotel in beautiful Evreux, we had a room in the courtyard, nicely decorated in an industrial style with brick walls and exposed pipework. Lovely modern bathroom with a huge shower. Parking was around the back of the hotel in the garden area by a river. Breakfast was plentiful, and despite the bar not being open when we arrived, we were served drinks in the little reception area.
  : As with most of the hotels, there were no facilities to make tea/coffee. It wasn't cold when we stayed but we noticed that there was no heating in the room. Everything else was fine

  : I requested lower floor as it is very difficult for my husband they had us booked in 22 2 nd floor but the lovely receptionist Valerie changed it to No1 perfect
