Ibis budget Verdun

Wonderful
Traveller Type:
  : Nice, clean hotel

Very Poor
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: I can honestly say the only good thing about staying here was it had hot water in the shower once my husband managed to fix it with a paper cup, good orange juice and chocolate spread at breakfast and a good recommendation for somewhere to eat.
: Where do I start, stay clear of this hotel. I will not be booking into any Ibis hotel after this experience! Quite evident that a lot of maintenance and staff training needs to take place. Staff where generally unfriendly and rude, rooms where dirty, cracked walls, lights that went off and on as and when, shower head that was unusable until my husband managed to fix it with a paper cup, burnt croissants and limited variety of food, ran out of coffee first thing in the morning.

Disappointing
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
: Size and cleanliness of the room.
: The receptionist copied all the details from our credit card, even though we paid for the accommodation in advance through Booking. She explained it as a deposit for the room equipment. We travel frequently, but have never and nowhere come across such a request. There was nothing like that in Booking's terms and conditions.

Very Poor
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: The room was very small, very dirty, full of dust, spider webs and flies. We booked a double bed room and got a twin room. The personel was very condescending.

Good
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: Parking was good. The rooms were small but functional
: The staff at the reception was not very polite. We were assigned the wrong room types. They fixed the issue but we ended up with rooms on different floors. I pointed that out and they looked annoyed

Very Good

: it was clean and comfortable and not far from a very nice restaurant as budget hotels go it was good will stay again if I'm ever down that way again Plenty of free parking so no problem there
: couldn't check in till five which when you've been riding all day in plus 30 heat was not good we didn't pay for breakfast as it wasn't very good value for money
